Ich finde die camphill Idee sowiso sehr schoen!Und das es nun auch in Indien eine gibt,finde ich toll!Ich moechte auf jedenfall auch mal ein Praktikum dort machen.

Ich habe bisher vorwiegend gute Erfahrungen mit Camphill gemacht. Ich arbeite zur Zeit als Kunstlehrer/-Therapeut in 1 kl. dörflich christlichen Miss. Schule in Andhra P. Hier gibt es eine Menge Probleme. Ich würde mich mit Euch Kollegen gerne hier und da ein bisschen beraten. Hier wird gerade versucht, ein paar geistig beh. Kinder ins Schulinternat zu "integrieren" - die Kollegen haben aber wenig Erfahrung und sind nicht so gut ausgebildet. Weitere Folgeprobleme sind sozusagen vorprogrammiert. Die Lehrer gehen eher streng autoritär vor. Ich selbst bleibe nur noch bis November. Ich bin da, um diese beh. Kinder ein bisschen zu fördern. Aber wer führt das fort ab November? Ich versuche auch, die Kollegen mit Grundlagen v. Malen Zeichnen, Plastizieren vertraut zu machen. Bisher war Kunstunterricht hier unbekannt und gilt als hübscher, unnützer Luxus... Wie sieht's bei Euch so aus? (Ich kenne Camphill Sellen bei Burgsteinft, (Deutschland) von vor 15 Jahren). Schreibt mir mal zurück? Freundliche Grüsse!, Oliver

Hallo, mein Sohn ist zu einem "Praktikum" in Mumbai. Die 1.Eindrücke sind katastrophal. Nichts ist vorbereitet. Keine Wohnung etc. Er lebt jetzt seit 14 Tagen im Hotel. Das App., das ihm angeboten wurde, würde ich hier in Deutschland gar nicht betreten. Außerdem wird eine hohe Kaution gefordert. Leider kriegen die Mitarbeiter (4) nichts auf die Reihe. Die Handykosten ufern aus. Die Einheimischen machen Termine die sie nicht einhalten. Wie kann man eine neue Praktikantenstelle finden. Das diese Stellen zum Teil nicht bezahlt werden (wie in diesem Fall auch) kann man akzeptieren aber zumindest sollte doch mal ein App. vorhanden sein. Es handelt sich um ein betriebswirtschaftlichen Praktikum. Unser Sohn ist Student der Europa Fachhochschule Fresenius für Wirtschaft und Medien. 23 Jahre alt. Das Problem ist auch die Verständigung, der normale Inder spricht leider kein Englisch. Vielleicht kann irgendwer helfen. Marion Isringhaus

Time passes... it has been 5 years since I left Bangalore, having spend 4 months in the community as a part of my studies (Heilpädagogik in Germany). Amazing to see the people again here on the homepage, many names were forgotten, but the faces and characters are still clear in my mind and in my heart. Living in Camphill is one of the most intensive ways of getting to know yourself (I spend 1 1/2 years in William Morris House in England before joining the team in Bangalore). I often think of the time spend there, it is not a way of living that goes along with my way of living, but I admire the people who spend their lives in the communities throughout the world. Dear all, I am entranced by both Camphill and India,and hope to visit for a short time in Feb or early March,2005.

Lieber Camphill Freundeskreis! Ich war dieses Jahr im Sommer für 5 Wochen in Indien, um das Land kennenzulernen und war begeistert von der Athmosphäre, von den lieben Menschen dort und von der Vielseitigkeit des Landes. Doch auch Verzweifelung und Tauer empfand ich, als ich die viele Armut sah und so viele Menschen, die ihr ganzes Leben lang um Essen und Trinken kämpfen müssen. Da dachte ich, da muß man doch helfen, etwas unternehmen und nicht tatenlos zugucken! Da ich vorhabe, bei Camphill Community mitzuarbeiten, bin ich auch auf eure Seite gestoßen. Ich finde es großartig und bemerkenswert, dass ihr es Möglich gemacht habt, in Indien vielen hilfebedürftigen Menschen ein zu Hause bieten zu können. Später, wenn ich regelmäßig Geld verdiene (ich hab erst gerade die Schule beendet und werde nächstes Jahr studieren), möchte ich eine Patenschaft übernehmen. Leider kann ich aus gesundheitliche Gründen nicht in Indien für Camphill arbeiten, was ich sehr schade finde, aber trotzdem wollte ich auf diesem Wege euch meine Begeisterung für euer Projekt mitteilen. Ich wünsche euch für die nächste Zeit viel Glück, Kraft und Freude!

Ich bin zwar erst 15 Jahre alt, aber ich interessiere mich doch sehr für die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Menschen mit Behinderungen und Menschen ohne Behinderungen. Eure Seite ist sehr gut, man erfährt viel über Camphill in Indien und es ist sehr spannen und interessant!
